Comments:  Variety 8a was first identified by this author during late January 2021.  An example of Variety 8 first appeared within Frank Leone's reference 'Sam Thurman's Cud Collection', where Mr.Thurman had mistaken the Reverse AE.2 cud as a later die state of his 1C-1864-4R listing in 'The Cud Book'.
