Obverse 12 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the north within the bottom
loops of the 8 and 6. Obverse 12 has acquired a clash mark between
the hair curl and the last feather from a clashing event with Reverse
AI.
Reverse AI is rotated 16 degrees clockwise and has acquired clash marks
located to the upper right of the
denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 12. Reverse
AI has developed the following die crack:
1. Die crack from the rim at 9:30 extends upward through the
left wreath.
Comments: The
placement of the Reverse AI clash marks suggests a working die rotation
was evident during the clashing events between Obverse 12 and Reverse
AI.
