The second die pairing of Obverse 3, which is identified by date placement at RE and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif of the 1; to the south within the upper loop of the 8; to the north above the upper loop of the first 6; to the north within the lower loop, above the lower loop and above the upper loop of the second 6.  Obverse 3 has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack connecting the tops of STA(TE)S.

Reverse C is rotated approximately 9 degrees counter clockwise.  Reverse C has acquired clash marks to the right of the denomination and has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Radial die crack from the rim at 3:15 through the right wreath and into the field towards CEN(T).
2.  Radial die crack from the rim at 7:00 upward and diagonally through the olive leaves and into the field, where it extends into the base of C(E)NT.
3.  Die crack from the rim at 8:15 upward through the left wreath.
4.  Die crack from the rim at 9:30 into the left wreah.

Comments:  Variety 3 represents the second die pairing of Obverse 3, which was previously in service paired with Reverse B during the Variety 2 Die Pairing.
